Man arrested after Armadale bag snatch robberies

Police have arrested a 23-year-old man who has been charged in connection with two alleged robberies in St Helens Place and Hailestones Crescent, Armadale, on Sunday.

The robberies took place on Sunday 12th February, and the man is due to appear at Livingston Sheriff Court on Tuesday 14th February.

Police are still appealing for witnesses to these alleged handbag snatches, and would appeal for anyone who was in St Helens Place around 6pm, or Hailestones Crescent about 8pm on Sunday night to contact them on 0131 311 3131.
